Supported media for data transfer

You can send us your print data via the following media:

• e-mail (for larger files it is advisable to use the www.uschovna.cz service)
• USB flash drive, CD, DVD (can be sent by post or brought in person)

• PDF file according to ISO standard:PDF/X-1a
• Adobe Illustrator CS3 (convert all texts to curves)
• Adobe InDesign CS3
• Adobe Photoshop CS3
• Adobe Acrobat Professional 8
• Corel Draw X3 (convert all texts to curves)

Recommendations and important requirements for print graphics

General recommendations

Do not create individual layers of the form as layers of one file, but create a separate file or page for each layer of the form. Process everything in the appropriate CMYK or Pantone colors.

Consistently distinguish between sheet and inch formats (A4 ? 12")

Texts

Texts in Adobe Illustrator and Corel DRAW applications must be converted to curves.

Upon agreement, it is possible to send the fonts used in OpenType (otf), Type 1 (pfb, pfm), True Type (ttf) format.

Photos

Color and black and white photos - minimum resolution 300 DPI; CMYK color space; TIF, PSD, JPG format.

Fine art - minimum resolution 1200 DPI; TIF, PSD, JPG format.

We do not accept photos printed from newspapers and magazines, photos and images from websites (in most cases they do not have sufficient quality and, above all, resolution for high-quality printing).

Logos

We accept logos in vector formats: AI, EPS, CDR, or vector logos in PDF.

We do not recommend sending printed and scanned logos, logos in bitmap formats (e.g. JPG, BMP, TIF), logos from websites and logos inserted into MS Word, MS Excel, MS PowerPoint. These logos are often unusable for further processing. For usable graphics in these formats, you will be charged for vectorization according to our standard hourly rate.
